I have a degree in BSc Integrative Counselling from Roehampton University, attained in 2012.
I have attended various trainings and courses, in particular working with trauma & complex trauma, abusive relationships and low self-esteem, also mindfulness, and using art in therapy. I regularly attend talks and lectures, keeping up to date on latest developments in the field of counselling and psychotherapy.
As well as working with clients who have a range of different issues in private practice, I work with clients who have experience of being in an abusive relationship, I have been working with this particular issue for some time now. I also have experience working in a low-cost, adult therapy service which offered general counselling, while there I also received further training to work with clients in crisis, with complex issues such as self-harm, addiction and suicidal thoughts.
